Ferry Residence
The homeowners enlisted Margaret Donaldson Interiors from the
ground up for the interior design of their Lowcountry home.
Donaldson reviewed their architectural and building plans, was
on site during construction and offered suggestions to add interest
and function. The
homeowners’ favored a contemporary style, which Donaldson
achieved with bold colors, a modern master bath, eclectic
accent pieces, and custom furnishings — many designed
by Donaldson and built by local craftsmen.

of Palms Residence
Many custom pieces made by local craftsman make this truly a
one-of-a-kind beach house. To achieve an overall elegance and
simplicity of design, Donaldson laces references to the homes’
Lowcountry beach setting with fine fabrics, unique accent pieces
and custom furnishings. The entrance hall sets the grand tone
with its limestone and marble floors. |

Starting from scratch, the homeowners worked with Donaldson
to create a warm, family friendly home that would exude their
personalities. With a range of warm and cool colors, Donaldson
create spaces that work together but are unique in their own
right. Each space is thoroughly thought through to create a
wonderfully comprehensive design. |
