Creekside
Living Room
This lively living room provides a perfect balance of tradition
and youthful color. The silk striped draperies accent the green
walls as rose colored accents splash color around the room. |

Stono Ferry
Living Room
The living room’s fireplace takes center stage with the
family’s TV and piano balanced on either side. Donaldson
tucked the TV away in the recessed, custom cabinetry on one
side and angled the piano under the recessed arch on the other
side of the fireplace. She designed the repeating arches that
are above the cabinets and fireplace to visually connect the
spaces. |

Tradd Street
Living Room
Donaldson chose rich, neutral fabrics and fine oriental rugs
to showcase the architectural details and original heart pine
floors of this 1700s house. Custom-made silk draperies and a
crystal chandelier enhance the authenticity of the historic
home’s living room. |

East Bay
Sitting Room
Donaldson chose modern accents, such as the high-backed sofas
and coffee table of brushed steel to offset the room's grand
lines. A small "gallery" of paintings by local Charleston
artists surrounds the fireplace. |

Daniel Island
Living Room
Warm colors create a comfortable environment on Daniel Island.
Pieces were chosen to maximize the room’s functionality
for the family. Donaldson combined draperies with shades to
create a soft, layered effect. |
