Stono Ferry
Master Bath
Donaldson created a sleek, contemporary bath, while incorporating
as much storage space as possible. She designed the “his”
and “her” vanities and enlisted the help of a local
cabinetmaker to build them. The rich burl maple and ebony wood
cabinets provide a striking contrast to the green onyx marble
tops and glass knobs. |

Guerard
Road Master Bath
The custom stained glass window, which Donaldson designed and
commissioned, serves as the room’s focal point. Fashioned
from two antique French arches, the iron window frame holds
stained, painted and etched glass, created by a local glass
craftsman. The diamond shape found on the custom cherry wood
cabinet of this master bath is echoed in the tub skirt. |

creamy mosaic floor tiles, and a large custom, sunken tub. Neutral
colors and natural light lend feelings of comfort and relaxation.

Isle of
Palms Powder Room
Donaldson creates a splash of color and original art by framing
colorful panels of upholstered fabric for this beach house’s
powder room. Chocolate painted walls serve as a neutral backdrop
for the artwork, while a sparkling light fixture brings in light
and contrast. The custom bead-board cabinet fits in naturally
in this island home. |

Guerard
Road Powder Room
Donaldson achieved a fresh new look for the family’s powder
room by converting an existing chest and mirror. Bordered in
black, the red onyx marble slab floor adds drama to the room. |
