back to MDI News CHARLESTON, SC (July 17, 2006) – Margaret Donaldson Interiors is pleased to announce the launch of “MDI Retail” on its website, www.margaretdonaldsoninteriors.com . “MDI Retail” offers online sales of accessories and furnishings used in the interior design of the 2006 Southern Living Idea House at Daniel Island. As the exclusive interior design firm for the Charleston’s first Southern Living Idea House, Margaret Donaldson Interiors was responsible for the complete interior design of the 3,700 square foot house located at 2465 Daniel Island Park Drive. The updated traditional style house is open for public tours through October 8. Tours are offered from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays through Saturdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $5 at the door with a portion of ticket sales to benefit MUSC Children’s Hospital. Southern Living magazine will feature the house in its August issue. Margaret Donaldson Interiors offers full-scale interior design services, specializing in upscale residences and new construction consultation with architects and craftspeople. Margaret Donaldson, ASID, often works with architectural plans to ensure that the resulting interiors are practical and geared toward the client’s lifestyle.
