Margaret Donaldson Interiors Wins ASID Merit Award

(Charleston, SC) November 14, 2005 –The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) presented Margaret Donaldson, owner of and principal designer at Margaret Donaldson Interiors (MDI), with a 2005 Merit Award for the interior design of an over 3,500 square feet, Isle of Palms residence. MDI’s Merit Award is one of two Design Specialty Awards given by the Carolinas Chapter of ASID for the over 3,500 square feet residence category. The American Society of Interior Design gives the Merit Award to recognize interior design projects that exemplify excellence.

The interior design industry has recognized Donaldson’s creative and professional accomplishments with several industry awards, including four additional ASID awards for design projects as diverse as a showhouse room to the interior of a yacht. Margaret Donaldson will be the only South Carolina interior designer to be featured in Leading Interior Designers, a hardcover publication published by Sandow Media. Due out in the spring, Leading Interior Designers is part of The Perfect Home series.
